The need for autonomy and electrification is more evident than ever with the global warming and the global pandemic that hit mankind today. Transportation accounts for 28 percent of emissions, so electrifying delivery systems using autonomous drones is a paramount means to reducing emissions and congestion.
This project demonstrates the coordination, optimal routing and control of a fleet of drones fulfilling a finite set of package pickup and delivery tasks that evolve in time. This work was completed with Courtney Moran and Sangram Patil.
